ABOUT ME

An IT professional, who has done everything from Helpdesk to leading large commercial real estate technology teams.  I have seen it all, and now I want to offer you the skills, knowledge, and advice I have accumulated over 25 years. 

  • Proficient in assisting small businesses with cyber security, system administration, Technical support and setup.  

    • I have a large selection of vendors that I can recommend for small businesses, for various technology needs.​

  • Having been the quasi-technical support for family, friends, and neighbors, so I understand the need to have a trust worthy professional when needing residential help.

Domain Name, Web Services and AI assistance

Helping small businesses grow, and take control of email and other aspects of their business.  By moving off free email, you can utilize AI for numerous items, streamlining multiple projects and eliminating tedious manual tasks.

Microsoft  Administration

If you are using Office 365 or On-Premise products, I can help with cleaning up accounts, licenses, and devices.  I can assist with SharePoint site creation, managing your company data, among other items.

Cyber Security

I have implemented numerous cyber security policies, changes and procedures.  This includes creating Multi-Factor authentication and single sign on for numerous applications.  I have introduced numerous policies that meet SOX compliance.  Used Microsoft Defender and other various SaaS applications for monitoring and alerting.  

Network

I have implemented and assisted in hardwired and wireless network systems.  I can assist with phones, hardwired or transitions to soft phone systems, like Teams or Zoom.

Do you have a company that needs some technical training?  I am experienced in leading training courses or classes, focusing on Cyber Security and Microsoft products.

Cyber Security Training

I offer Cyber Security training, for various scenarios.  I can do a basic overview or more granular training on why user based cyber security is important.  Items such as Phishing or Spam email awareness, password complexity and advice, Ransom/Malware, Multi-factor authentication, and  AI awareness(including Deepfake scenarios)

Microsoft Training

Is your business in need of training on the new features offered by Microsoft?  I have experience running training in various Microsoft products.  Much of the focus on Office 365 products, these include Teams/Team phone, Intune, SharePoint, Bookings, Planner and ToDo. The emerging class that has been popular is Co-Pilot and the advantages of integrating Co-Pilot into your organization.

Priority Support

If you are in need of a familiar face that will check in on your devices monthly, I offer subscription based support.  The subscription will give you priority access to remote support and scheduling of appointments.

  1. Priority Support — Monthly subscription receives priority scheduling, quicker response times, and can replace existing appointments in emergencies.

  2. Fast Remote Help — Get quick support for small issues or questions that don’t need a full appointment — just message me and I’ll jump in when available.

  3. Technical Help/Advice — Whether you're shopping for new gear or need input on a decision, you can reach out with any hardware or software needs

  4. Scam/Phishing Email — Forward those suspicious emails my way and I’ll analyze and inform you of their authenticity—and keep you out of trouble.

  5. Waived Travel & Pickup Fees — Waived mileage fees for commuting to and from appointments and local pickup or delivery of equipment.

Fractional CISO/Sys Admin

Helping companies improve their Cyber Security posture, analyzing vulnerabilities and mitigating risks.  I can assist with policy creation and procedure implementation.  I have multiple vendors who can assist with all aspects of security from email filter to  network and device monitoring.  

I can also assist in managing and maintaining systems and devices(incl. mobile devices).

Office Technical Support

Less System administration, but more general office assistance.  I will setup, move, reconfigure offices or cubicles, setup and configure printers, or troubleshoot hardware and software office computer issues.  I can build and setup laptops, tablets or desktops for new hires or refreshes.  I can also assist with phones, conference rooms and key card access readers. 

Residential Technical Support

For residential assistance, I can setup a schedule to run updates, check event logs and recommend upgrades for personal devices.  We can setup a scheduled day each month where I can remote in, in the evening and make any changes to your device.  You would have priority on scheduling and will have the option to have a visit for any emergency issues.  

The different monthly services have a different minimum hour requirement, please inquire

Just a fun fact, when trying to think of a name for my small business, I wanted to honor my two late companions, Remington and Daisy Mae!  I am an avid outdoorsman, with a love for technology.
